canada's border control was a breeze and the toronto was fantastic. the entire town was full of nice people but I think the two assholes in the whole city worked at the club we played. and goddamn your metric system.

nyc's pianos is a very cool club, but jesus, $6 for a fucking beer? luckily it was my birthday and I got some free drinks but still. also, the Library is the best bar in new york city, hands down. Saturday night was the night that I discovered Rheingold beer, equivalent to Old Style/PBR both in taste and bowel effect. I fucking loved it. god bless you nyc. thanks for coming out, Aaron and Katie.

i've never had a higher concentration of homeless dudes trying to weasel money/cigs from me than in columbus. step outside for 10 minutes, and there was at least 4 or 5 dudes trying to barter. also, paper airplane is a very good columbus band and very eerie as how similar we were to each other. we didn't have any other time to really see any of the rest of the city.

inside jokes that came from our last little trip included Tom Raper the 9-foot rat and Jerry Clower. This time around was the continuation of Jerry Clower, plus a bloodhound giving us the finger from an elevator in a drunken/hungover haze at 8am on sunday morning, and performing cunnilingus on a frog.

what a great fucking trip.

Pianos is a nice club, if expensive. Wanted to make it up to the show but unfortunately could not. Be sure to let us know next time you come back to NYC for a show.

the $ was my only complaint about the club. the music room, albeit a bit small, had great sound.

on the other hand, the $2 Rheingold's more than made up for it in the night after.

Fuck. This was the wrong answer. I was hoping you guys were either second or headlining. I have band practice in OP from 6:30 to 9pm and I wouldn't make it till 10. Too late I take it?

Was this the source of the Library's greatness? Cheap beers are great, but Hi-Fi's jukebox + 2-for-1 happy hour is pretty hard to top.

the jukebox at the Library was like listening to my own cd collection. So, yes, this added to my love for the Library.

to be fair, I've only been to hi-fi once and the library twice. but the library wins.
