Just wondering what some of you with immense collections do to catalog your collections for easy reference. Previously I was using WORD, but is there a program, that when connected to the web can actually look up info like year released, producer, etc?

I had a demo of Orange CD, which should be easy to find with Google or CNET. It seemed pretty decent, but I farted around never felt like actually entering everything.

Thanks, I'll definitely give it a look. One reviewer on Download.com said that it runs slow with any collection over 500 albums...erg. I wonder whether it can be dumped to, say a HTML doc so I could post the info as well. I think I probably want too much, and just need to settle. If only I was a programmer...

I use Visitrax.

www.synapsa.com

It uses FreeDB to recognize cds and download all the track data and such. One simple file to backup too. The stuff is sortable by artist, song, year, album. You also get free upgrades.
