i'd refuse to buy my mom cigarettes.

if she wanted them....she'd have to buy them herself. i'd never help her kill herself.

My parents used to get me to buy them smokes when I went to the store. Thankfully they quit before I got old enough to realize how dangerous they are.

Not even 18 yet?

What the hell are you doing here ferchrissakes! You should be out causing trouble, wreaking havoc, starting orgies, etc. etc. etc. And certainly NOT buying cigs for anybody.

it's my mom. she's tried to quit, and i'm just not going to give her shit because she's going to buy them regardless.

and i'm here because it's a school night and i've been extremely tired all the time as of late, so i don't quite feel like going out.

it would be more fun than sitting here though. tired or not.

haha, no not grounded. perhaps when we get report cards though.

no, i'll just get the "you're going to a community college if you keep this up" talk, when i know there's no way in hell i'd actually end up having to do that.

yeah i'm very tired and i just want to go to sleep, but i feel dumb going to bed at 8:30 so i'm thinking about either watching tv or playing video games. (super mario brothers 3 on original nintendo)

i don't know. nothing is ever on television.

3. The second one, with the princess, gets old. Also, the first one is weird and I don't really like it.

Did I mention I have Duck Hunt as well? The fucking best original nintendo game in the world.

I guess there are worse things to do with oneself at not-quite-18.

I used to buy my dad booze when I was 8-9. My mom would call the corner liquor store, "Tania is coming over to buy Greg some beer. Would you mind putting it in a paper bag? It's ok for her to buy a lollipop." Off I'd toddle to the store, walk back with a paper-enshrouded 40 oz, my two arms wrapped tight around it for fear of it falling. Ahhh, those were the days.

I'd help my biological mom do that. My step mom (one I call mom) I love her. But i'll still buy her as many cartons of cigarettes as she wants me to.

She'll quit when she wants to, my word won't affect her that much. It'll help but I mean it's not that easy to quit, so i'm leaving it up to her.

Dad didn't drink, but if he'd ever asked one of us kids to go buy him booze, my mom would have brainpanned him with a skillet and then probably dunked his head in the flush. Maybe set his shorts on fire after. Then would've have prayed with him.

I used to be in charge of keeping the Schaeffer cans full while pops was doing yardwork. The place would be littered with "dead soldiers" after not too long.

Loves me the "One Beer To Have When You're Having More Than One" to this day.

The point is not helping her quit -- like you said, she'll do that on her own, when she's good and deady...I mean, ready -- the point is, I wouldn't want to be the last one to have bought her cigarettes just before she found out she had cancer.

Or somethin'.

My sister smokes, she buys her own. Them's the rules.
