Rockin'.

The one show I will drop everything to see each week. There hasn't been a show with its hooks this deep in me since Senifeld.

Thanks for the link.

(jeez, writing that last word I mis-typed and wrote "kink" twice. what's going on in my mind?)

Is it just me, or was Sunday's episode their best ever?

It's not just me.

The SLUT t-shirt at the wake was classic. "She cleans up nice."

As was Buster throwing the maid's "favorite toy" at "her car".

Funniest show on TV IMO.

And the whole Charlie Brown influence throughout the episode.

I can't believe my VCR didn't work. First episode of the series I haven't seen.

I have so much trouble watching this show. I love it but I either forget it's on like I did most of last season when it was on at 9, or like last night fall asleep. I literally fell asleep right as the Simpsons ended & woke up at 8:55 as AD was ending.

It's one of the two shows I make sure to see every week - The OC is the other, but I have to admit that I haven't seen this past week's episode yet. I'll have to track it down / watch it tomorrow at work...

And, for the record, I'll put it on the line that the 31 or so episodes of AD far outweigh the comedy of the 12 or so episodes of The Office. By Far.

This is my favorite TV show of all time. I will genuinely be upset if FOX cancels this in the near future (as I'm sure they will). Most great shows die young because the viewing public is too stupid to watch anything other than Becker and Will & Grace.

I too, watch this, and the office, religiously. actually, not the office because I have seen them all.
BUT
next season they're writing Ricky Gervais in to a few episodes per his request.
it's like the meeting of perfection.
Ricky Gervais is to follow up his cameo appearance on American spy series Alias with a guest slot on acclaimed sitcom Arrested Development.
from bbc.co.uk-

The Office star is now trying to set a date to record his role on the Fox show, Arrested Development, aired on BBC TWO in the UK, but details are scant.

His spokesman said: "Arrested Development is Ricky's favourite programme at the moment and everyone in the cast are big fans of Ricky's.

"Ricky is working out when he'll be able to do it."

Love the show as well.

One thing when comparing the office to AR is that the office may have only had 12 episodes but the series had characters you actually cared about. There is heart in the Office which i think AR lacks.

They're both great.

i can totally see that, but for some reason, i actually care about these people. they're more interesting and dynamic than any sitcom characters i've seen in years, which is impressive given the amount of people involved.

also, the acting on this show (all around) is stellar, but the kid who plays george michael is one of the best actors on television.

It's already been said numerous times in this thread but AD is the first show I've looked forward to watching every week, other than The Simpsons, for years. I'm not much for blocking out a time in my schedule for a TV show but this one is worth it.

Last week's episode is the funniest I remember. The Peanuts music was brilliant and Buster dressed in the army stripper outfit was priceless.

the best was when Justin Bateman (so cute, doesn't age)
was on Conan and Queen Latifah was next to him on the couch
she laughs and says
"I used to have a crush on you"
she looks him up and down and then says
"I still have a crush on you"

I 've heard that apparently this season Justin Bateman is going to start dating a woman...played by his sister Justine Bateman.

The guy who plays George Jr said this on Conan, but then he turned it into a joke, putting into doubt the claim that she will play his love interest.

But maybe he was serious about that.

Rick Gervais on Alias? Wha?!
