i've been so bored with videos this year. i can only think of one that i'm even really enthusiastic about, dizzee rascal's for "dream." i'm really liking bloc party, even if they didn't sell me when i saw them, but that video's a drag. oh well. i just keep telling myself the objective is listening and not watching.

some bloc party info for you...

Autumn is in full swing,the leaves are turning brown and Bloc Party are
proud to release their newest single "Helicopter" through Wichita
Recordings this Monday 25th October.

The CD format contains the exclusive extra tracks "Always New Depths"
and Minotaur Shock's krautrocking / floorfilling / mood enhancing remix
version of BP classic "Tulips".

The 7" is pressed on coloured vinyl and has the exclusive extra track
"Skeleton".

"Helicopter" is the first release from the sessions for their
forthcoming debut album "Silent Alarm" which is out February 2005 on Wichita.

"Helicopter" was recorded in Copenhagen and London with boy-genius
producer Paul Epworth (Futureheads, Babyshambles) and was mixed in New York
City with the lovely Rich Costey who has mixed tracks by such
lumineries as The Mars Volta, Rage Against The Machine and Cave-In.

The song, I dig it. I hope the forthcoming album lays it up as good as this.

The video, schmideo. I have'nt had cable for 4 years, so I wouldn't know what is good/bad anymore. Video is always a bonus if perchance I see one.
