well they would also have to pay to produce the entire 22, which is extremely unlikely if they're not even going to air them. it's not like they're already "in the can" as tobias would say.

That CNN article didn't say anything we didn't already know...I didn't see an official cancellation in there.

Don't get me wrong...I KNOW it's gonna get axed. But that isn't what that article was about. Just sayin' .

Except for the headline "'Arrested Development' gets the ax'" and the phrases "'Arrested Development' is also headed for the exit" and "Also getting the ax at Fox is 'Arrested's' companion . . . "

What a steaming pile of shit this is. What, is Fox replacing it with America's Cutest Retards?

i don't really care one way or another, and actually would secretly be happy if it went of the air because i don't find it very funny. But networks are dumb. Some of the most successfull shows ever took a few years to catch on (like Cheers, which was the worst ranked show it's whole first season)

the show has a small but very very loyal fanbase, why do they think that fanbase wouldn't grow?

they are going to be able to sell DVD's from every season, and there is zero doubt that some cable network wouldn't pick up syndication rights.

ditching this show is bad buisniness.

Yeh, it's a retarded way of doing business. But that probably means there's some behind-the-scenes monkeywrenching at work. Maybe the AD producers threw some attitude at the Fox network execs or something, and the execs are jacking them around in the only way they can. That sorta shit happens. And happens a lot.

Considering how much Family Guy's comeback is falling short of season 1-3 & how much the Simpsons have fallen off (don't get me wrong I still love both shows) & how the Soprano's might be in it's final season, I forsee a tv in my future that shows movies, sports & nothing else.

Can someone be a champ & add a YSI of "The Final Countdown" to this?
