I'm late on this one, I know, but I've finally seen all of Chappelle's show on dvd. I picked up both sets on ebay for about $20 and jesus, this is some of the funniest stuff I've ever seen. I'm sitting here by killing myself laughing. Highlights for me have been The Real World, Reparations and obviously Charlie Murphy's Hollywood Stories. "That cocaine's a helluva drug." And that puppet sketch with Q-Tip is fucking hilarious. I see know why these are the best selling dvds of all time.

What a shame that there (most likely) won't be more episodes.

I saw some interview with Charlie Murphy where he said that they had a lot of sketches done before they quit, and it would probably come out on DVD.

Yeah, I'm glad I finally watched it all. That bit where he's hanging out with Wayne Brady pretty much had me on the floor. I hope he comes back with some more stuff. Maybe he's just happier doing standup. My friend saw him recently in Detroit and said he did two hours and just killed.

It was (is?) a great show, but many of the best sketches have been ruined by steakheads who insist(ed) on repeating certain lines over and over again in public places. Come up with your own material, people.*

* I'm not referring to Obner people - mostly just people who wear white hats and listen to "Dave"

best thing about season 2 - the guy doing the robot at various moments during the show.

I just finished watching the bonus features on the dvd and Charlie Murphy's Additional Hollywood Stories are the funniest bits I've ever fucking heard. I actually had to pause it to catch my breath I was laughing so hard. The "I Want More" story about beating on this guy is just classic.
