What has a longer shelf life: Milk or Pro-Wrasslers?

Lay off the steroids and painkillers, kids.

I know that Ricky Steamboat is still alive. I just randomly got a book that he co-wrote that teaches you how to do wrestling moves. I think I'll try it out on my friends!

Vince has got a mess. This wasn't one of the guys who was doing shows at the lower level promotions or sitting around at home in retirement. This is an active guy. The life expectancy is pathetic for these guys. It's only a matter of time till Rowdy Roddy Piper kicks the oxygen habit and joins this Royal Rumble in the sky:

Eddie Guerrero [38]
Flyin' Brian Pillman [35]
British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith [39]
Big Boss Man [42]
Chris Candido [33]
Road Warrior Hawk [45]
Miss Elizabeth [43]
Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig [44]
Flyboy Rocco Rock [49]
Big Dick Dudley [34]
Bam Bam Terry Gordy [40]
Yokozuna [35]
Ravishing Rick Rude [41]
Louie Spicoli [27]
David Von Erich [25]

don't forget about Crash Holly [32]
plus, in a different context, Owen Hart [34]

Only one Von Erich listed? An entire family disappeared to drugs and suicide other than Kevin.

I remember back in the WCW days when Eddie and Pillman faced off regularly...

Anyway Elvis Fu, your list could at least be 4 times longer with untimely wrestling deaths just in the past 2 decades. Didn't WWF's "Crash Holly" just off himself like a month ago?

The really tragic part of this is that he did all sorts of drugs and drank a lot for many years. He finally kicked the habit and has been sober for the past couple of years, just moved into a new house with his wife and three kids, was probably going to become the new World champion this Friday.

And he dies of heart failure. While brushing his teeth.

He was found with the toothbrush in his mouth, which means it must have been instantaneously.

There's only one Von Erich because I left off the suicides, car accidents, murders (Bruiser Brody & Dino Bravo) and general shitty luck (Owen Hart).

That list is just some of the drug overdoses and "heart failure" before turning 50.

I just informed my mom (a huge wrestling fan) about Guerrero's death -- she hadn't heard and is now totally bummed. Apparently, he was one of her favourites.

They did a duel taping of RAw and Smackdown last night, and it was a total tribute show (alal Owen Harts one a few years ago)...

Looks pretty sentimental...

http://www.pwtorch.com/artman/publish/a ... 5369.shtml details of the shows to be aired tonite and friday... (SPOILERS)

There was a coverup somewhere because Lex Lugar (her boyfriend at the time) was definitely involved but I believe, escaped prosecution.

Sounds a bit like a wrestling plot, eh?

Kurt Hennig and HAWK Died?
WTF?!!

That's because Ravishing Rick Rude [41] is already dead.
