Yeah, I finally got Gamecube earlier this year when I traded in my PS2 at a pawn shop. I only own two games for it and I only play one.

I still play Super Nintendo more than any other system I own.

I've got a Dreamcast, & play my bootleg CDR of old NES games more than anything. That & Soul Calibur.

I've got a Gamecube and still haven't found the time to play through Resident Evil 4 which I've owned for over a year. I don't know what's happening to me.

I just played a XBox 360 the other day and nearly creamed my pants. And by nearly I mean that I hid it pretty well. King Kong is the shit

Yes...As a matter of fact I do...I was gonna pre-order..But I hate how they trap you into buying the budle pack crap...I was seriously thinking about sleeping out for this, like I did the original...We will see...I'm actually pretty hype for the PS3..But that shit is along way off...I love me some Halo 2 online though...I can easily kill a day with that...and have...

dreamcast is great, and became even greater when i found out that you don't need to modify it to play copied games or emulators.

ding ding ding...we have a winnah

I'm not a big enough game geek ( I play in spurts...I'll go 2 months without even looking at the thing, then go hot & heavy for 3 weeks ) to throw down the dough on a current system, but I jumped all over the Dreamcast when the clearanced them out at $50 a few years back.

oh i bought mine the day it came out (9/9/99) and was thrilled to no end with soul calibur. the rest was kind of.... not nearly as good. once i discovered the art of burning games, i can say that there sure as hell are a lot of god awful dreamcast games, but the ones that are good are in fact, quite good. the emulators are great, except i have yet to find an snes emulator that will run all the games i want it to.

soul calibur and worms armageddon made for drunken (yet sad, in principle) nights of fun in college with my roommates.

ninja gaiden is really fun, but it's not worth buying a system over alone.

I'm kind of excited about the Nintendo Revolution, but I'd probably wait for the first price drop before getting it.

I don't care about the new X-Box or PS, though.

I have all four nintendo systems: (nes, snes, n64, gamecube).

My one great victory in videogames was winning the mario kart 64 championship at my high school four years in a row. Hell, my friends at college won't let me play it with them as they say I'm too good. Just cause I win 13 outta 15 races man...

it has a different chipset than the xbox and they didn't want to put an extra nvida chip in there so backwards compatibility has to be done with emulation. the emulation requires title-specific patches, some of which will be pre-loaded on the optional hard drive. tomorrow they are supposed to announce the full list of titles they will be supporting. additional titles will keep coming as long as demand supports downloads via live. if you don't have live, you can apparantly put a memory card into the kiosks in game stores to get that content.

so, the answer is some, but not all. expect all big sellers to play. oh, and the 360 has 2x low cost anti aliasing, so xbox1 games will look a bet better, particularly halo2, which had some brutal texture glitches.

anyhow, i told you i geeked out bad on this shit, so there you have it. my return question to you is why would you want to play old games on a new console?

Its a good thing to, cause those halo2 glitches can be enfuriating at times.
