Dick fuck Jesus, this is fuckin' good.

I just got around to buying it today, and only caught the first three songs on the way from Tower to my house, but damn this is awesome already. I really like this band.

I've stopped by a couple stores to buy it but they haven't had it in stock. I'll probably order it online but haven't gotten around to it yet.

From the reviews I've read it sounds like I'll really enjoy it.

Seriously, I had this album on repeat ALL weekend. It gets better with each play. I didn't think Gimme Fiction was gonna get nudged from the #1 spot in my top 20, but this fugger might do it.

a Marah press release Wrote:
Produced by us in a NYC studio and a Brooklyn kitchen, it’s a record of music we taught the boys in the morning, and then recorded in one to three takes in the afternoon. Spontaneous as all hell, you can probably taste the strong studio coffee pumping through our veins as we cut "Fat Boy". Hell, I bet you can even get a drag off the cigarette dangling from my brother’s lips as we blasted through "The Demon of White Sadness," "The Closer," or "Sooner Or Later," all on the first take. Up, down, all over the musical map, we wanted to create a record that could be tender and cool one minute, skittish and spazzy the next. Hopefully, by the time you reach "The Apartment" at the album’s close you’ll feel as worn out, nervous and strangely alive as I did the night we cut that one.

"The Hustle" rules my world right now.

Holy crap. What about that fucking Bob Dylan harmonica solo in "The Dishwasher's Dream".

Just checked out these samples. Good vibe. Pretty fucking good production for recording in their kitchen(?)

Oh, I guess they say they did some work in a studio too. Anyhow, good stuff.

Since E-Fu sent this to me, I've listened to this about a 1000x. It landed immediately in my Top 10.

I have yet to hear a Marah song. And everytime I see the name it reminds me of Mariah...maybe subconsciously I'm avoiding the album.

Yeah, thanks Fu. This is probably my favorite record that I've heard this year.
