I've kind of blacked out recent Husker history, and I still figure the only teams that can talk trash about Nebraska are teams that have won a title since 1997 and have beaten us on the field.
I personally think we are below mediocrity, mediocrity was the 7-7 Solich Year. The only team we lost to that wasn't better or ranked higher than the Huskers that year was Penn State.
Except for the 70-10 beating that Texas Tech gave us last year, we haven't suffered any of the Mid 90's embarassment that we gave OU.
I like UGA, but I think I have always been more partial to Alabama and LSU, Alabama because we have played them for a title and LSU because they put us into a title game.
