I'm having so much trouble putting these chairs together because a) the wrench doesn't quite fit the hole, and b) I don't have room to rotate the wrench entirely around, so I keep having to pull it out and re-insert it, which (thanks to a) is not that easy.

Argh!

Use the other end.. less leverage, but easier to rotate.

Shmoo-I think the best way is to spend a few bucks at a hdwr store and get yourself a ratchet set or one of those ratcheting screwdrivers with allen wrench attachments. It'll payoff handsomely now and more so later. should be only a few bucks at ACE or the like.

Sounds like you're using metric when you should be using English, or vice versa. If you take the advice getting a cheap allen wrench set, make sure you get both.

I hate the fuckers, too. Everytime I put something together where I have to use 'em, I'm always muttering something along the lines of "I'd love to slap the shit outta the idiot that invented these Gawddamn things" . :D
