what a great show!

from their intro. & their appearance onstage, with their funky green glow-in-the dark costumes, to getting down to playing a quite soulful 1st set and rocking 2nd set/encore -- closing, like in '02, with "man don't give a fuck" -- it was truly great!
the almost 2hrs. show completely made up for the fact that my car got towed, and that it cost me $150 to get it back. i don't know how you chicagoans can make sense of your parking enforcement signs, i need a guide book...

What is is with SFA shows and car problems?!?!
Glad you had a good time, Mo.
Wish I could have been there, too.

yes, this was an excellent show. i was a bit hesitant going into it because i don't like love kraft too much and SFA wasn't very good when i saw them in 2004, but they were cookin' with gas last night. i thought i was going to lose my mind when they ended that first set with "ice hockey hair" and "receptable for the respectable." they're two of my favorite SFA songs and i'd never heard the former live before.
