but i can't find a tv guide ANYWHERE. i went to 4 different stores.

now i'm going to watch a 3D episode KNOWING that i'm going to be missing all the cool stuff. hurumph. :(

i've never seen ANY tv or movie in 3D. this was going to be my first. :(

Yes, I watch it and Yes I've got my 3d glasses - you should record it and watch it later if you can find some 3d glasses :) I plan on doing that and watching it again :)

Every previous attempt at 3D on TV has sucked, and there's no reason to think this time will be any different.

My Dad just told me the 3D was "pathetic," and he's got high def.

hmmm... needed to go to the store anyway to get some shizzle. I think I'll have to pick a TV Guide up and check this out. I'm sure it will suck, but at least it will probably suck in an interesting way.

The Soup did a montage of shots from what I assume was last week's ep about how they whored out to Memoirs of the Geisha. If you were watching it normally you probably wouldn't notice it much, but through this montage it was frickin' crazy how many times Geisha was mentioned/shown.

Yeah, I watched and I noticed, but I thought it was pretty cool. I wish more advertising could be like this - seemlessly threaded in with the show, instead of 2 min. commercial breaks that ruin the feel of a show. Sears and Extreme Makeover Home Edition is another example. Not that I watch that.

Of course, the problem is that we're not going to get any fewer commercial breaks as they start to do this more. The networks will just get greedier and add these extreme "product placements" as an additional source of revenue. And when they're not done right, which will be often, they will destroy an otherwise good show.

So we all lose, and the man gets richer. As usual.
