Didn't realize they were the band at the dance until after i saw it. The drummer is also from Radiohead and bassist from Pulp. Cool stuff, have to see it again now i know its them.

I just saw Chamber of Secrets for the first time a few hours ago. I'm going to rent POA on Wendesday and then watch GOF on Thursday with my family.

I've been told that you notice some big difference between the second and third movies because of the new director.

The Canadian chauvinism is quite large, here.

Especially when you consider that the band in the film is unnamed - though, yes, it is supposed to replicate the band of the novel (who Rowling did call the Weird Sisters (or some such)).

Further, when you consider that the Albertan band was trying to capitalise on this movie when they have no connection to it, and Warner Films made the effort to assure that no confusion would arise - forgoing naming the band, as it was in the book, when performance clearance could not be received - I would think that 'Cliffe, of all people, would call the band's members out on their bullshit.

Instead, he just laps it up.

Wyrd, no?

Still are, from what i've heard. They refused a $50,000 offer from Warner to go away and are pursuing the lawsuit.

'Tis true. The first two are just...there; Prisoner of Azkaban feels like there's actually someone behind the camera.

it's not that i don't want to see the and best buy having each double dvd on sale for 7.99 is super tempting... i just dont have the attention span for a 2.5 hour movie... let alone 3 of the.

i borrowed the first set from my friend a year or so ago, ad it sat ion my shelf for months..never found the motivation to watch...

guess, it wasnt meant to be.

If you get the extended version DVDs, they break the movie into two disc to make room for crazy audio tracks (four commentaries). That may work for you.
