Be Thankful for what you have, and don't bother with what you might not have.

I'm in UCLA (Ugly Corner of Lower Alabama) We have Guinness on tap (am drinking one now, at 8:06CST) and enough Turkey and all the fixins for 32 people, 6 dogs, and 4 cats.

Weather is nice, Spa is warm, and I am fat and happy.

it's snowing SO BAD here that my 'travelling' plans have been cancelled. not sure if i even want to venture out to the other side of my family. i hate snow.

but.....my 'pseudo' family lives upstairs.....so, i'll still be with loved ones. :)

Barely 11:30am here and freshly outta bed. It feels SOOOOO great to sleep in! I still have to change out of my jammies, apprently, we're having company over. Guess that means I should start preparing the turkey sometime soon.

since my travelling plans were cancelled......i've had the LAZIEST day.

i slept until almost 10. (when i found out the plans were cancelled.)
i napped for 2.5 hours.
i didn't take a shower until 5:00.
we just ate.
and now i'm prepared for some drinking. but there's not much in the house.
time to get creative.

i wonder how orange flavored vodka would go with cranberry juice???
