I've never heard of them and really can't tell much of what they might sound like from their description of themselves. It sounds like something that could be cool or pretty awful.

I generally think most Funk Carioca is horrible. I never understood why of all brazilian music, that scene took hold internationally. So the mention of that makes me run.

I see that they were the ones who picked the tracks for the Sexual Life of Savages comp though, so I guess that's cool. I'm not really crazy about either of those Brazilian post punk comps though. I love both Brazilian music and post punk music so I needed 'em but both rank pretty low when compared either to 70's post punk and other Brasilian music I'm a fan of.

Sorry to piss on the parade. If you find it, share your thoughts but I probably wouldn't make it a priority personally based on the limited info on their website.

On another note:

I see that Soul Jazz's Tropicalia comp hit Dusty Groove today. I already own every song but it might be a nice intro for people less obsessed with Brasilian music than I.
