Kind of a good luck story: I bought the Dandy Warhols latest. On track 5 it started skipping. I took it back to the store and after checking the others, all of them skipped at the exact same spot. I got my money back.

After having heard the whole cd, I think I'm the better.

I had a new Tom Petty cd skip and it had no scratches or blemishes. I exchanged it the next day.

I know that on A Night At The Opera some of the songs segue into each other so the question is does that happen or is there abrupt silence?

It's abrupt silence after track one...it goes "I fee---" and then silence. On track 2 a similar thing occurs. Cd's fucked.

I bought this band's CD from them at a show once from their singer dude, he was drunk and didn't charge me, I just let him eat some of my french fries. But he gave it to me out of his pocket without a case and it worked for like 10 seconds.

Actually, "Death on Two Legs" does end kind of abruptly, but it shouldn't be silence, it should go right into the first couple notes from "Lazing on a Sunday Afternoon". And I don't remember "Lazing..." ending abruptly, so that part's fucked.
