Some observations:


That last Bears score, Lovie should've tried running the ball in for a TD.

Why does Orton even bother throwing it long? Useless.

TJ needs to receive more passes. Effective.

Muhammad again a non-factor. Give me Marty Booker back.

Peterson again showed that he can be a threat.

Tank continues to improve. In retrospect he was a great rookie 1st round pick and is fitting in well.

The Bucs deserved to lose after missing a 29-yard field goal at home.

Seeing Gruden's sour grimace/Chucky face was worth a million bucks. I hate that dick.

I'll keep Ogunleye, thanks. Orton needs to be benched after that performance. We can't live on our offense putting up (practically) 6 points, no matter how good this D is playing.

no way would I bench orton until there is really good reason to do so. yeah, his aim is off and he overthrows his guy too many times, but the bears are winning. 7 in a row. and you do NOT fuck with that.

and besides, do you really think that putting in grossman (i assume you mean him and not jeff blake) is going cause the bears to instantly rack up 250+ yards passing? not a chance, because that's not what the bears' offense is all about.

I'm less concerned with 250+ passing yards then I am with sustaining drives on offense so that our D isn't so worn down by the end of the game.

It is a miracle that they're playing as well as they do, when you look at our T.O.P. ranking. (Last I checked, we were like 25th). Not only that, but they're also in the bottom 2/3rds of the league in # of plays the D has faced.

Orton has done a great job of barely managing to not fuck up enough to lose. But we have a special defense this year, and we're going to jeopardize that with a rookie QB. He hasn't done a single thing during this winning streak to, #1. Contribute to it, and #2. do anything that Grossman could do better.

Our starter is back, and it's time to put him back in.
