here's a lovely little slice of bay area soul from dorando, unearthed by gilles peterson. precious little info is available, but this track was released in 1973. the man's voice takes a little getting used to (he sounds sort of like a muppet al green). but once you get over the initial shock, it sets in that this is an achingly beautiful, strange, airy piece of soul. props to moxie for pointing me to the blog that pointed me to this track. so without further ado...
