I've not heard anything of his in YEARS -- d'ya think it would be worth checking him out live? He's gonna be in town next month and my curiousity is piqued.

I'd do it. The last album I heard from him was an instrumental dub set (can't remember the name right now). Interesting stuff - more chill than PiL or Damage Manual.

Any idea as to what his current stuff sounds like?

'Fraid not. That album was back in...2001 or 2002, I think? If he's released anything since then, I haven't heard it or even heard about it.

You're probably talking about Passage To Hades (with Evan Parker)---good stuff.

I'd definitely go Tania.

I saw him in Cleveland a few years ago and it was amazing. Very trippy, spaced-out, dubby stuff. I wouldn't miss it. Plus he's kind of a bass legend if you ask me. So why not check it out?

That's what I'm thinking...why not? 'Sides, he's fairly a legend in terms of the bands I was diggin' on back in the 80's. Alright, I'm sold. I'm sending my order in on Monday.

Merci beaucoup, mes amis!
