But you gotta give it up to Favre. I wish he was a Bear. We'd give him time to throw and people to throw to. He's a class act, the last gunslinger.

I like Gado too.

By the way, i'm totally feverish because my scar got infected yesterday. I can barely use my left arm. I'm just waiting for it to get closer to coming to a head before I lance it.

My life is fucked up.

Class act, maybe, but last gunslinger, doubt it. I think a guy like Carson Palmer fits the mold of g'slinger and there are probably a couple more i'm not thinking of.

Sorry to hear about your infection man.

Farve is in a class by himself. Period.

I am not a Packer fan.

thanks dude.

the reason i'm digging on favre, even more this season than seasons that the packers perform, is that he's got no o-line, and he could play it safe and run it more... but he still tries to make shit happen in places most qb's would never consider, because he's got big brassy balls full of super semen.

when palmer tries to pull that shit without any team to speak, of, then i'll give him props as a gunslinger.

Point taken, I do agree that Favre is in a league of his own, I was just contesting the "last gunslinger" point. Palmer, earlier in his career, didn't have a great team around him yet, but he wasn't afraid to air it out. But even so, Palmer's team then, probably wasn't as depleted as Favre's today.

Palmer's got promise.

Is there a qb today as well liked as Favre? I can't think of one. Dude's iconic.

Phil,

Have you tried intermittent antibiotic therapy? I'm thinking that for recurring flare-ups to the scar tissue this might be helpful.

No worries. I got car jacked by three car loads of skinheads when i was in college, right before I student taught, about two blocks away from a studio I was recording at on the west side of cleveland.

Ended up with a fractured skull, and cranial hematoma, left arm had a broken humerus, radia and ulna, 5 fractured ribs and a punctured lung on the left side, broken femur and tibia on the right leg, and that scar. But i tell myself i'm glad to be alive, but right now i hurt enough that death or intoxication would be seriously preferable. Mostly, i'm pissed off that i lost the love of a lifetime over that bullshit.

Definitely. Though I will say, he has been a huge improvement over what Green was doing before he went out. I love watching Gado but every time he's hit I think I see the ball fly out of his hands. 20% of the time, I'm right.

Great game last night, it was good to see the Packers win again even if it means they aren't going to get Reggie Bush for next year.

Gado is the main reason I'm won any playoff games this week.

Favre = best player of his generation
