Have any Alejandro Escovedo? His earlier CDs have been released with bonus discs..."thirteen Years" and "Gravity"

Am listening to this right now. If you don't have it, pick it up.

Well.. they didn't have The Knack.
Or the Nico.
Or the other CDs I was originally pining for.
Or, if they did, they had a 2-disc set that I just can't spend the money on right now (T-Heads stuff, in particular).

So I wound up with

The Decemberists - Picaresque

I've seen a few raves for it here and I like their first record, so... what the hell?

First listen:
Didn't hit me too hard with the exception of
"16 Military Wives"
which is freaking wonderful.

Might take a couple of listens.

I've had Picaresque for a few months now (+ seen them touring it live) and I guess it's STILL gonna take a few more listens before I find anything about it more than remotely tolerable.

Dude, it's Best Buy. The only thing I buy there is the occasional Kylie Minogue album (must be a new release, though) and blank CD-R's.

Oh, and computer gear, but even that's changing.
