Do planes even use their brakes to stop? I thought they used their jet engines, just threw them in full reverse. That way, they can stop even in worst conditions.

In unrelated news, an air marshall shot someone for the first time yesterday.

Yeah what happened was the weather dudes missed the boat on the forecast. They kept saying 1-5 inches total. Midway got almost a foot of snow in four 1/2 hours.

Then the downtown was only supposed to get maybe 3 inches of this, we ended up with about 9. Oh joy.

APparently the plane skidded off course, through a fence onto a major intersection crushing two cars. There were five in one car, three in the other, and the little boy died of injuries. That's sad. Last night before I went to bed the news was saying the weather was still so bad that they didn't know when the officials would be able to make it in from Washington to investigate, meaning the plane wouldn't be moved from that intersection until they got in.
