Of course, I blurted out "That's totally my favourite song" in front of my brother, who has no clue who the fuck Elastica is.

I really need to get the valley girl out of my system. :oops:

'Connection' is your favourite song ever? You need to hear 'Three Girl Rumba' from Wire's 'Pink Flag' album.

Basically it's the song Elastica stole note for note called 'Connection' and then rather scandalously gave themselves a writing credit for.

And that Wire record is really something that you should own, especially if you like Elastica. "Three Girl Rhumba" isn't even the best song on there.

Actually, "Connection" isn't my favourite song ever. But when it comes on, and there's a nice piece of man-ass across the dancefloor, it could be.
