I'm thinking about having apple and cinammon oatmeal, a croissant, and vanilla tea.

haven't had good chorizo in years. Gotta look for some in this frozen tundra of a state.

You have some of THEM in Madison, so you should be able to find chorizo, morcilla (sp?), etc., in the area.

If not, though, come to Milwaukee and check out Supermercado El Rey (now, with three locations, but the flagship is on Burnham, just off Ceser Chavez Boulevard).

Also, Waukesha has historically been the most heavily Latino area of the state (though Racine is closing is, as more and more Chicanos and Boricua from Chicago migrate north).

THEY are everywhere nowdays. But THEY are from everywhere too. Many of the ones here are from central Meaxico and the Chorizo is different than the ones from SoCal. The ones I got here last time are more like the Portuguese linguica than chorizo. I'll have to look around some more. there are more and more Latin grocery stores popping up here every month and I haven't checked them all out tyet only a few so I might be in for a surprise.

i had a bunch of friends crash over last night so i made bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs with cheese, pancakes (I didn't have any) and french toast (again, i didn't partake), and lemon poppyseed muffins which i didn't make, and lots of coffee.

Then later, for dinner, I made chili, and cornbread, and salsa/blackbean/queso dip for the bears victory.

Just something I picked up on the board.

I never called Chicanos nor Latinos by the codeword "them" 'til I started frequenting CMJ/Obner and was exposed to the second language, GAR.
