Yes, I'm just going to get that out there. I was shopping at the Gap getting rid of some 2+ year old gift cards and out of nowhere I find myself humming along with the light acoustic-pop bullshit that they play over the system there when I realize that this is Sonic Youth and that's why I know it. I have no idea who does this, ring a bell for anybody?

And in stranger news, I bought a pair of jeans for the first time in at least seven years. Still feel a little bad about reneging on that one, but hey...they fit.

It's probably David Kitt. He did a whole album of odd covers in 2004. I have an AAC file of it if you'd want it. Just let me know how I'm allowed to post it.

thanks for the offer, it's not anything i'm dying to hear though. just thought it was a strange selection in the midst of the rest of the gap's playlist.

*sigh* the song that dictated how I became a rabble rousin' punk rocker in high school and college goes yuppie. Fuck me.

I just did the same thing, but they were from Old Navy.

I'm wearing mine now, trying to break them in. Going to have them on for my travel day tomorrow...hours and hours on a plane will make me see if I can really commit to a pair of jeans or not.
