just got home from my company's christmas party.

That sounds glorious. The only thing missing from our office party (which lasted until 6 the next morning) was ass-grabbing.

If a party lasts until 6 in the morning, there better be missing pants.

Our "office" party is scheduled for after the first of the year, since that's when business finally slows down. I'm not really looking forward to it, though, because since we're all so seperated, running our own routes, I barely know any of the other merchandisers.

Ha. My workplace party included all the ingredients for pure debuchery. Of course it lasted until 6am, there was TONS of ass-grabbing and boob-flashing/grabbing and people making out everywhere just for the hell of it, 4 kegs, lots of liquor, other things..., pukers, passers-outers, a live band (made up of current and ex-employees) to play a bunch of drunk rock, and lots of food to start it all out with. Now, I will say that we didn't have any instances of missing pants, but two employees disappeared into the men's employee bathroom to 'talk', and when they emerged, the sink had been broken completely off the wall. I think that gets just as many points.

I gave my coworkers and bosses each a tray of cookies. My boss said they looked so nice he was going to print a picture of them in the paper and I'd surely get a marriage proposal...

I'm glad there was no ass grabbing involved in that.

it wasn't THAT kind of blowout. unfortunately.


however, i'm awake now....and thanks to proper pre-bedtime hydration. i feel great. which is suprising considering: a) how late i went to bed. and b) how many things i mixed last night.

2 of my friends brought redbull and cherry vodka to make cherry bombs. if you've never had one of these....well, you're not really missing out, i think. but they were pretty tasty at the time. especially since kevin kept making me drink more and more..... (oh, and did i mention that there was an OPEN BAR!?!)

so, i had to leave my car at work. and, i believe i've made arrangements with a friend/coworker to take me to work. she asked my boss if i could be late this morning. he said yes.

so, i'm sure the 'henhouse' in my department will be wagging their tongues about me come 8am and i'm not there.

fuck 'em. that was fun.
(they're jealous that they didn't have as much fun as my table.)




ok. i'm rambling. enough.

i am going to go home and drink alone I think - no work party but friggin finals are over. thank the lord.
