This is the first I've hard about the CPT members (man, I'm out of touch). I have a good friend who works for them. I think he's in Arizona right now but I wonder if he knows those who were taken.

I can't tell if this is ironic or not, because of course anyone should be able to voice their opinion in a public forum, but the fact that he signed their petition just to say this is pretty dickheaded.

I talked to my friend who works for CPT last night and he is good friends with two of the four who were kidnapped. I guess they haven't heard anything from them for a couple of weeks now and it seems negotiations have ceased for the time being. Not a good sign.
