let's take a little trip down memory lane. I'll start:

Green Jelly - Three little Pigs
Whale - Hobo Humpin' Slobo Bitch
Alien Ant Farm - was that the nineties? did they have a second successful single?

Alien Ant Farm's second was that MJ cover.

Does Silverchair count?

Meat Puppets - an "important" band for sure, but by Billboard's account they are technically a one-hit wonder.

Deee-Lite

Verve Pipe

Gregg Alexander disbanded the group because he was tired of fronting a "One Hit Wonder" and wanted to focus all of his time producing for other people. He went on to produce and write many songs for Texas, Sophie-Ellis Bextor, and Ronan Keating, even crafting a few #1 hits for them in Europe. His biggest hit in the US since "You Get What You Give" was "The Game of Love" by Santana and Michelle Branch.

He did record at least one solo song after breaking up the group, and you can download it below. If you want to hear some of the songs he wrote for other people, let me know. Heck, I might just post a few anyway. :)

I saw Whale opening for Blur on (I think it was) The Great Escape tour. They were awesome. And their singer was a babe.

They had at least two big songs, and you could make an argument for one or two more.
