I just found this and wonder if anyone has any comments.

id rather not go into the whole digital audio compression thing again, but i will give some brief comments. i use mp3 because ive decided i need compatibility and i can swallow the relatively large file sizes. monkeys audio is lossless, meaning that while you dont lose any data (like you would with lossy compression techniques, like mp3) and your audio quality is preserved, the file sizes are much, much bigger.
