So, this is the party my buddy is promoting, and scored a small group of us the $250 VIP ticket...

Dress code is: Trendy and Chic.

what exactly will that entail?

my plan at this moment is to go...

colored dress shirt, no tie
black w/ charcoal pin striped coat jacket
stone washed black jeans
black shoes

almost the same outfit as I wore to my x-mas party, but i wore the matching pinstriped pants to make the outfit officially a suit...

id rather avoid a suit combo...

will my outfit suffice?

I'll have that in my bag to change into at 2am, and bout 10 beers deep. Before midnight, and that'd be just plain weird.

Those old ghetto Reeboks with the high top and two velcro straps.

Went fine....The crowd wasnt nearly as dressed as I thought, and I think my outfit was far betetr then alot fo the slobs there.

Went with:

Black Skechers shoes. dont know the style name, but they come across professional if you arent on your knees investigating em.

black stone wash jeans

then a black button down shirt with thin navy greeen, cookie monster blue, and beige stripes from the GAP.

nobody pointed and laughed at me, so I guess i was fine.
