Naaah, I've just been hearing about this race for a while, and apparently Rendell ain't in any trouble, and Santorum looks to be sinking like a stone.

me too and I almost started this thread a while back just to gauge Cotton's respnse.

whatever. Neither Swann nor Stallworth should be in the Hall of Fame but governor has been devalued to just above DogCatcher so why not?

my response is lukewarm at best. Yeah, he's been talking about this for awhile. But the thing is, Rendell is pretty fuckin' safe where he is (despite Pittsburgh still having a grudge from when he bilked that extra stadium for Philly when he was mayor), Santorum is running scared (as he outta be) and alienating his own base as well as taking shots at Bob Casey Jr.

Also, don't forget that Johnstown (home of the Murthaburger) has among the highest per capita troops in Iraq in the country and everyone over there is pretty much sick of the whole thing over there.

I think PA will vote more democratic than last time, but not much.
