They do quite enough of that already. Different A, of course.

But, March 11, Milwaukee, Riverside Theatre. I am there. It's a classy venue, for a classy band... Even if the RT is where I was first offered weed (at a Foo Fighters show, no less).

You people bitching about not getting shows is like Brad Pitt bitching about not getting laid or Ted Kennedy bitching about being sober.

Nobody came around here before Katrina, and they certainly ain't coming now.

I however am surprised at the two DC dates. Do I have any excuses not to hit this up?

Never hit that one up. I wonder if the Troc was booked.

If Bejar's going out w/'em (which is a distinct possibility, w/"Rubies" coming out in Feb.), I'm at both shows.

I mean, it's not like the Tower isn't a)the second best sounding venue in the city and b)right nect door to the El and bus routes.

Screw that the Factory is a hole. a hole with overpriced drinks and a zoo of a bar area.

What's the source for this? I didn't find anything on their website on the Riviera's website.

Not to mention the staff is a bunch of dicks, and the sound is godawful.

All nuances are lost in that place...apparently only metal works there.

seriously. The Troc is getting dangerously close to that area too. I haven't been to a show at either of those venues since the Flaming Lips show a few years ago.

EDIT: That's SXSW weekend.... if I make it out there, probably won't be able to get into (possibly the) best show of the year (B&S, Mogwai, Cat Power, etc.), and might miss both shows that weekend in L.A.

Van Damn...

Just told my brother (who lives in Nashville) that if he springs for tickets, I'll show up even if I have to walk down there.
