people who post here regularly have actual real life lives. Over the last few days, the threads have been slow and altogehter not heavily travelled. I gotta respect that this board is made up of people who aren't shut ins. Hope everyone is enjoying the evening out. I just came up, or home...........my wife fell down the stairs tonight (see my morning post) so I am still up in case she awakens and needs me.

I hope she'll feel better soon.
:)

I had an interesting night tonight. I made a joke about crabs tonight and had to explain to my 11 year old brother what they were.
Then I had to explain to him what STDs were. and then he told me something with "bad language" in it and he spelled the word "shit" out, but then blatantly said "cocksucker" outloud.
I love my little brother.

Aren't kids awesome!

I think I blew sketch's mind wide open by playing 'Damage, Inc' (Metallica) and 'Flower' (Sonic Youth) with him in the car when he was 11 or 12. He hasn't been the same since....

I didn't think anyone was up (or around).

I have to work tomorrow, so I think i'm going to bed.
I work every sunday, so I hardly go out on saturdays.

Regular life; sort of, I guess you could say. Went out tomight at 7pm to grab some food with a 'friend' of mine, and we played darts. Then I met up with my neighbor (and very close friend) and went and drank champaigne (sp?) and played cards. Then met some others downtown Athens a couple hours later and hung out and had more beer. Then came to my house to dance and play Twister. Now they are gone, and I have to work at 8am. YAYYY!!!

I can't wait until my exams are over.

My life has been 100% stress for a couple of months now what with dodgy tradesmen, mechanical breakdowns, family infighting, coursework, exams, ex girlfriends, potential girlfriends, hospital visits, living in a dump, dwelling in the past, thinking fearfully of the future and, last of all, supporting a crappy football team.

I'll probably head down to London for a couple of days just to decompress a bit. I'll have to take a look at my overdraft first though!

Shit, I'd forgotten about the stress of massive debt for a second...

Yeah my postings are sparse these days. My regular life has taken over. That's why I'm not around much anymore.

Between husband, work, son, pregnancy and other stuff, I generally use my downtime for a movie or to read. Kinda boarded out. No offense to you all.

And weekends are busier so you get one post a weekend out of me now if that.

I've always multitasked well and manage the real life-to-posting rate things smoothly. But, lately my son has gotten into computer strategy games and my wife spends more time on the Remdawg Red Sox board, so I'm not online as often.

Umm...which means plummeting from a robust and dedicated 15 posts per day all the way down to an abyssmal, paltry 13.

Mike, if it's not for you, I'm not on this board. On the old board, I wrote a far-too-lengthy piece about Sugar's Copper Blue being my favorite record and your influence in that. Master of Puppets is a top ten all-time as well.
