They're always available, feel so damn good and (usually) last longer...

Here's Mine:

Diminuendo and Crescendo in Blue - Duke Ellington live from "At Newport 1956'
Halloween/Flower - Sonic Youth
Suck - Trent Reznor and Pigface (not w/ NIN)
Tanya Jean - Kurrt Elling from "The Messenger"

And for premature ejaculators:
Ain't Talkin 'bout Love - The Minutemen

I don't know if these are really better than sex, but they are damn close...to me.

My Bloody Valentine - "Only Shallow"

Godspeed! You Black Emperor - "Sleep: Murray Ostril (They Don't Sleep Anymore on the Beach)"

Tricky - "Makes Me Wanna Die"

Jane's Addiction "3 Days"/"Then She Did"

Portishead "It Could Be Sweet"

Spiritualized - "Medication" /"Ladies and Gentlemen, We Are Floating in Space"

There is no music better than sex. Only music that augments sex.

If you have two kids, you know what it is. By a lot. 'Cause I doubt you got her pregnant each of the only two times you had sex; meaning, you've had sex way more than two times.

I understand that I have had sex before.

I was implying that it has been such a long time that I forget...

Sex is so completely over-rated. It's just a leftover instinct.

Yeah, that's kind of what I was thinking.

If music was to be playing, I'd like to hear 80s metal...

I don't get this sex/music thing unless its a practical measure to cover up other noises that might embarrass/arouse the downstairs neighbours.

I'd be like "uh uh uh...oh wait I love this guitar solo!..........Ok...uh uh uh."

I never got into the music and sex at the same time after getting kicked out of bed for stopping during a Van Morrison song ("Caravan", if I remember)

As far as the rest of this silly argument that no music is better than sex thing is concerned...

If you don't think there's music better than sex, then:
- You are still less than 20 and your d**k does more thinking than you do
- You haven't had the chance to experience truly bad sex (it IS out there)

And of course, there is the unstated assumption that you are MALE. I'm guessing that the women in your lives might say otherwise.

Not to pick a fight with a new guy, but this is silly.

You never said anything about music being better than any possible sexual situation. You said better than SEX. To which the sexually active amongst us would likely think "good sex," not "bad sex."

I've not had "bad sex" in a good long time and credit the "woman in my life" for that happenstance, though it's possible you could get her to "say otherwise." Most anything's possible.

No kidding. Who in their right mind wants to be involved in a situation where bad sex is involved? Oh wait, sorry...I know a lot of guys think that even "bad sex" is good. Fuck that!

"Uh...babe? This is just not happening. Let's check out the new CDs I bought this week, ok?"

Nah...not a fight. The argument came from me asking the question incorrectly. There are tracks out there that I would classify as great, and tracks that I would classify as 'better than sex'. Perhaps I should have said 'as good as sex' or something else. And these are not my all time favorite tracks either. I don't want to listen to them every day, but there's something about them that makes me want to take a nap and have a cigarrette afterwards.

Maybe you could call them 'aural sex', but I'm sure that terms been tossed out here before.

Hey now! I have never slept with anyone on Obner!!

Not if the music in question is the MTV Unplugged version of "D'yer Maker."
