So I posted a thread before about my car getting broken into on Christmas, and it sucked yadda yadda. The good thing is that of the 15-25 CDs that were taken only three weren't loaded into iTunes, so I'm hoping some nice Obnerite(s) might be able to hook me up.

New York Dolls - s/t
Dr. Dog - whatever the new one is, not Telephone or whatever it was called
Bush Tetras - Better Late Than Never (this one's really important, but I'm not sure how many people actually listen to / like the Tetras)

Please, please hook a cracka up. I don't have the funds to replace these, and I'm hoping that I won't have to. Danke

I have yet to get the stereo put in because there's another part I need to get from Honda first. Speaking of which, does anybody know how hard it is to install a CD player yourself? I'd like to save on installation costs.

edit - and what is Colinswood? I see it mentioned all the time, but I dunno what it is.

Did your stereo get stolen? It shouldn't be to hard to install a new one if there's already the hole there for it, just connect some wires and screw it in.

you might want to check here or do a search for a kit. Although you can do it without one the kits are much easier. as they come with the connectors and wiring etc for your particular car.

Check here first then you can see wht you need then look elsewhere for prices.

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-aj8Onfp8L3Y/

just hope they didn't damage the wiring by just ripping it out. if the wiring is ok then it's not too difficult. most stereos come with a braket that you just need to bend tabs to lock in. thenn slide. The trickiest part is the wiring. and that's why the kit.

I've got some Tetras on a comp or two that I could burn. LMK if you're interested.

In dash receiver/cd players are pretty easy, the hardest thing you may need to do is splice/solder the wires that were cut/ripped.

Yes, please. It's really only a couple songs from them that I need, but I do need them. Got the Dolls taken care of.

As for the CD player, Best Buy has free installation if I buy the player there, so problem solved.

i have that dr. dog cd but i'm pretty sure i have a virus too. dunno how this stuff works but its probably not a good idea for my computer to be sleeping around. if you want to wait a week or so my computer should be std free and i can send it then. some people tell me to go ahead and send files regardless, so maybe it doesn't matter

It shouldn't matter, and I doubt if your virus would translate to my Mac, but either way.
