ideal in terms of the medical tables or ideal based on their own ideal. i would say as far as the first, maybe 15 or 20%.

4. Not percent. People. Four people in the US are their ideal weight.

Way above my "ideal weight," which is a weight so small for me that I would look skeletal. I don't deny being considerably overweight, but I would never want to be what "healthy" is supposed to be - my frame can't bear that little fat on it. Short and stocky, with a lot of cushioning right in the middle just in case some lunges at me with something bluntly dangerous.

If 'ideal weight' doesn't account for body type (which stats like BMI don't), it's useless.
