Ybor City seemed kind of boring when I was there in 2004 but maybe I just couldn't find the right bars.

Well I was just hanging around Tampa trying to find something to do other than go to a strip club and I think I had the band in the back of my mind but I really didn't make the connection when I went there.

No, I'm not in Tampa. I was there in March 2004 for a couple days waiting for some friends to come down to go to Ft. Myers for Red Sox spring training.

the new song is fucking awesome, BTW. It's like just over 2 minutes, with handclaps, harmonica (?), and a guitar solo that is hun quality slayage.

I'd ysi it but i got it from itunes and we know how that goes...

Lived in St. Pete from '95-'98, and though I don't remember any 'raves' ever being held at Masquerade, I do think I've caught an Element show there. But dj elements are as ubiquitous as Muhammed, so it might not have been you.
