I got it. You're not the first to not receive confirmation. Not sure why.

Gotdammit. There's so many albums I was hoping to hear before I had to submit my list. I'll have to compile it without hearing stuff like Get Behind Me Satan or Separation Sunday - so I guess those two will be early entrants in the inevitable "This would've made my Top 20 if only I'd heard it" thread.

There's three or four slots I could change at this point, but I'm not going to bother.

Awesome.

Dunno how you feel about The Stripes, Uncle Monger, but for me, while none of their albums are played often in Casa de Gar, they are a great 'shuffle' band, and "My Doorbell" could be in a top 5 singles of the year category.

Worth checking out, methinks.

I like the Stripes. I think Jack White is the kind of loopy artist that's sorely needed in the mainstream. And I scanned Get Behind Me Satan at a listening booth many months ago and thought it sounded great. But I've been waiting to snag a used copy of it - and it must be a testimony to the album's sticking power, because it NEVER shows up in the used bins, which is really starting to piss me off.

Plunk down a sawbuck for it, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Yeah, DJ is right. If you dig em, you won't be dissapointed, unless for some reason you feel they should have collaborated with Brian Eno, Nico and Ray Manzarek on some kind of avant-poetry album, with all songs sung by Meg, and all instrumentation coming from sounds gleaned from Jack masturbating.

You know, like Radiohead and Wilco fans want?
