As a sort of Indie Simon Wiesenthal, I ask, "Are The Gossip Nazis?"

The double 'S' in Gossip looks suspiciously like the infamous runic symbol of the Schulzstaffel, better known as the SS.

Of course my lawyer tells me they are almost certainly not Nazis and I believe him so I don't know why I'm mentioning it.

All chubby dikes considered, that is an unfortunate cover design. It definitely needed one more lookover before going out the door.

If anything, it needs fewer lookovers, and less prominent "Hi, Helens."

Unfortunately many of the symbols used by the nazis were coopted from other cultures. Runes were mentioned earlier, and obviously the swastika was in other cultures before the nazis used it. To me, you are being too pc, and not looking at the broader picture. Sure, if the font was times new roman, and they had the SS in it like it is, then sure you could speculate, but the SS in this instance goes with the font. :roll:

Yeah but the 's' in Kiss were parallel to one an other and not one above and below each other, exactly like an SS symbol.

I don't actually think they are Nazis but I was struck by the cover design. It's pretty much the same as have a big swastika in your logo.
