Can't remember who sent me this (DJ? Mcap?), but everytime I listen to it I can't believe how great it is. Just swagger and some tremendous songs from a band that used to have an awful lot of both.

In a semi-related note: I chuckle everytime I see that SBC/AT&T commercial with "All Around The World" in it, and think of the Gallagher bros inhaling every penny.

even though it's not a "proper" album...it's the last great album they've put out.

No way, their best album is that other one that sounds like all their other ones.

yeah, i have everything they've put out, and while each of their later albums have some truly great songs, overall they are lacking the magic they had on the first two albums (and singles collected on the masterplan).

I only liked 3-4 songs on their debut, but What's the Story (Morning Glory) and The Masterplan are classic albums.

I'm seriously thinking about picking up Don't Believe The Truth at some point because the singles keep growing on me.

it's as worthy as their first 2 albums -- a b-sides-type of album from that time period.

Yeah, I think I sent that to you, early fall, late summer. Fucking great for b-sides. I think 'Talk Tonight' is easily Noel's finest song.

I think DJ sent me this too. I keep it on my usb key, and play it at school a lot. Fucking really, really good.

Definitely Maybe - Classic.

What's the Story (Morning Glory) - Almost a classic.

Be Here Now - Not repulsive but quite a misstep.

The Masterplan - Much better than a B-Sides album oughta be. Definitely better than Be Here Now and Heathen Chemistry.

Standing On the Shoulders of Giants - Underrated album. Their best since What's the Story.

Heathen Chemistry - Their worst. What a turd.

Don't Believe the Truth - I grew to really like this. Has 4 or 5 great songs.

I finally bought Don't Believe The Truth today and it is hands down their best album since What's The Story (Morning Glory) and The Masterplan.

"Mucky Fingers" makes me jump all around. :P

I have been known to throw out (What's the Story) Morning Glory as the best album of the 90s. Front to back there's not a bad songin the bunch.

Yeah I agree with the sentiments on 'Don't Believe The Truth'. Strong material from them.

As for Masterplan, I had a roommate in college who was REALLY into Oasis, and bought all the singles. I was always hearing them and going, who is that? The band had had its points.
