I know there's some fans on here.


So I'm trying to become a rep for them. In order to do so, I need to sell five cd's. The good news is I get them and can sell them for cost, which is $10. I did a quick search on Amazon and that's about how much they're asking for the two newest, but their first two albums are priced at $14 and $15. And it's not like I'm charging tax or shipping and handling.

So I need to sell five discs in total, of any of their four studio albums. Is anyone willing to help me out?

i was a rep back in '97..........

gots em all...autographed to boot.

back in the day.....they gave you a baseball card when you became a rep which got you into all the shows for free....then they signed to a major + got big and stopped doing that.

I've got all their albums still. And their new album comes out this April.


According to the e-mail, when you sign up to become a rep these days you get:
-free Guster shirt (special, "irregular batch" t-shirts)
-a copy of all 3 volumes of The Pasty Tapes
-rep badge
-and "a bunch of other crap"


With their fanbase being much bigger than it was at first, if they let all the reps in for free, they wouldn't make any money at all. So I can't blame them for that. Getting the cd's at cost is well worth it, alone.

whats the point.....

i understand street teaming and whatnot...but when a band makes it...whats the point? just seems to be more of a liability and more accounting work on their end......i just don't get why they are still having people sell their discs.....

also: not everyone could be a rep back in the day either......
