went to the high school's music show tonight and have to say all of the choral groups were pretty damn good. a few really talented kids. my daughter's in chorus and will never be a singer of any sort but really enjoys participating.

the point i want to make is that the music and choral directors' positions are part time in this public school but they put way more into it to give these kids a decent experience.

so, buy that candy bar, chocolate chip cookie or get your car washed by these kids if you ever run into them in front of your grocery store or the strip mall. there'd be a pretty dark hole in most schools if these programs were lost.
