I will say that their first album and the one from last year are perfectly fine. In between's quite a bit patchy. They didn't know whether to embrace the dumb-pop dark side or stick with their powerpop roots. They only have four albums. The second and third are mostly "meh," with a bit of "yugh," but the first and fourth are very good.

I also like that Hoffs still looks like an 18-year old pixie when she's in her mid 40's. All four of them are hot as hell live. Much more attractive the the watered down soccer-mom image many people have about them.
