My love for this band has only decreased by about 15% since my age of obsession: 13. The only reason being because I can't bang my head with as much force.
I once pinched a nerve in my neck by head-banging in my den after school with Seasons in the Abyss blasting.

War Ensemble is a wicked tune. Their live shows are the most brutal thing I've ever seen.

South Of Heaven or Seasons In The Abyss, in that order.

Hell Awaits is pretty good too but it's before they went totally balls out on Reign In Blood.

if you're a slayer fan, you NEED to get the reign in blood DVD. they play the entire album from start to finish, and it's one of the best shows i've ever seen from them. just fucking brutal.

My Love for this band never decreases. I say go Seasons In The Abyss-->South Of Heaven---->God Hates Us All--which is very brutal.

Peace

Don't you get arrested for buying albums like that these days. If not, then I'll be picking up the latest Testament and Obituary albums A.S.A.P.!!!

I got kicked in the head once at a Slayer show by a flying combat boot. Ohh. and the boot was attached to a skinhead. It was a crazy show.

I agree with most on here, though I dont own anything after South of Heaven.
Perchance I should run to the metal head shop and get me some more Slayer.)

If you like Slayer, you should also pick up Lamb of God's "New American Gospel, As the Palaces Burn, and Ashes of the Wake" Good holiday faire!

If Slayer's "Reign In Blood" was your cup of tea, you MUST own Dark Angel's "Darkness Descends". Same exact style of thrash metal, and the albums have been comapred to eachother quite a bit.

Ditt.

Or I could make them look more like an audience:

PS Medigs some Lamb of God, too. Not sure that they're thrash, but they're pretty brutal. You like God Forbid, too, neh?

I have to admit to not being too enamoured with their last couple of albums, Divine Intervention, Undisputed Attitude, & Diabolus In Musica, but I still need to get God Hates Us All -- I've heard good things about that one.
