The complete lack of melody and the yelps and howls annoyed the merda out my extremidade traseira the first 15 + times I tried to like TDPBSP.

But now, I'm looking at it as Bruce Springsteen's post-throat-surgery little brother's attempts at Frank Black and it's much better.

I've always liked tracks like "A Wooden Horse," but some of the others were just off-key blattering nothings for the longest time. I appear to have finally adjusted to the CD.

Bowie-isms, but no actually Bowie. His tone and pitch control difficulties preclude being an actual Bowie. More like Frank Bowie & The Catholic Spiders From The Andy Partridge Family Next Door To Asbury Park.

But I'm finding I really like The second half of the CD quite a a lot.

Not sure I ever really warmed to the album either, but I did like it somewhat. One of those things where I can generally find something else much higher on my "to buy" list.

It scares how some albums just take a really long time to do anything for you. Makes me wonder about all that stuff I've just written off over the years.

i loved it from the get go and even placed it in my top 100 albums of all time listmania.

I think you're just realizing that you were wrong from the beginning and that it truly is a superior album.

That's The Hives, not British Sea Power.
