Holy bejesus. I mean, I really like the album, but we saw 'em last night (i think i mentioned this in another thread, but my husband went to camp with one of the guys in the band, so we got in to the show thru him) and it was awesome. I love those bands where it's just chaos on stage, tons of people all swapping instruments. Seriously, this is why I keep going to shows I have no fun at, just on the off chance that they'll be as good as this one.

The only odd thing, and I've noticed this before with Canadian bands playing in the States, is that people say the weirdest shit to make the band think they know about Canada. Like some guy kept shouting "Poutine!" and "Peels Pub!" (If you've been to Montreal you know a) what I'm talking about and b) how moronic this is.) Inevitably the band just ends up looking confused. Why do people do this?

I flat out forgot when they played Logan Square in Chicago. I had EVERY intention of making the show, but nope. Such is the curse of being an idiot.

My favourite show of theirs remains the one where the band broke up onstage during the last song of their EP release gig.
