Such a huge joy to see this kind of a departure from the know-it-all chef and restraunteur-types who usually populate these shows. This is just a normal guy, reacting to amazing food the same way that you or I would react.
"Holy shit this is amazing!" (Only without "shit" because it airs on PBS.)
A bit dorky, but still very likable, and some amazing places and amazing-looking food so far. I am loving this show.


Best food-travel show on TV.
Hell, maybe the best show on TV, period!
