I guess I should give that Brightblack Morning Light another shot.

What's OM?

That Growing album is pretty sweet.

I still need to listen to that Alan Sparhawk thing. I've had it for a while.

How does that Silver Apples compare to old Silver Apples?

I played Brightblack Morning Light in the car for a week straight.... it was instantly familiar and odd at the same time.

Also the only other list with Charalambides on it. Clearly you are a highly evolved soul.

Great list of many albums I need to hit up.

Sweet list. Gave the Brightblack another shot last week and it's growing on me. Need to check out Major Stars & OM.

Om is the bass and drums duo that remains from Sleep, who we love for giving us "Dopesmoker". This is their second record and it's a trip. Robust, minimal, monotone doom.

The new Silver Apples is somewhat different. There are some extremely bright, carnivalesque jams that are reminiscent of "Lovefingers" or "Oscillations, but more consonant and poppier. And half of the album is more percussive, jammy romps. Definitely a must-hear for anyone who appreciates Silver Apples.

I listen to Brightblack Morning Light virtually every day. I think it's subtly incredible.

Harry, you're a cut above the rest.
